Hi! I'm Rachel Ray!

Photography has been my passion for over 15 years, and I still wake up excited to capture life's special moments. It's amazing how life can lead you to unexpected places. When I was younger, I thought I'd pursue a career in dentistry! I worked as a dental assistant for 25 years, but when I had to step away, I discovered photography, and it completely changed my path. What started as a simple hobby, snapping photos of barns in my area, quickly grew into a love for capturing people, their stories, and their most cherished memories.

Today, I focus primarily on sports portraits, team photography, and select special projects. After many years of photographing families, seniors, and children, I'm intentionally slowing down and spending more time with family while continuing to do the photography I love most. Whether it's working with natural light, exploring creative editing techniques, or simply connecting with the people I photograph, this work fills me with joy and purpose.

I've been proud to call Central Illinois my home all my life. My husband and I, along with our family, have lived in Tuscola for over 25 years. Being part of this tight-knit community has been such a blessing. When I'm not behind the camera, I'm probably spending time with my family, exploring local spots, grabbing coffee, or enjoying a peaceful drive around the area.

My approach to photography is simple: create authentic images that celebrate hard work, confidence, and the moments that matter most. Life moves quickly, and I believe the photographs we treasure most are the ones that help us hold on to the people, memories, and seasons we never want to forget.
